Hey there, I’m Mollie! I’m the founder and lead creative behind Candidly Yours Film, and I’ve been in love with storytelling for as long as I can remember.

I still recall being around ten years old, clutching my first iPad and filming impromptu home movies with friends, persuading my family to join in as the unsuspecting stars. It was all a little chaotic and unpolished, but it sparked something in me that never really left.

After attending weddings as a guest and being asked to capture moments here and there, I began to notice a pattern. The traditional coverage felt staged and overly polished. It looked beautiful, but it didn’t always feel alive. What couples truly wanted was something more authentic — the laughter, fleeting glances, the quiet embraces, the moments that often go unnoticed.

That realisation became the heart of Candidly Yours Film. My purpose is to capture love stories as they unfold naturally so that every time you look back, you can feel those moments just as vividly as the day they happened.

  • Imagine waking up the next morning after a special occasion and instantly reliving all the joy and excitement! Or perhaps you want to be the first to share your celebration with a candid highlights Reel on social. If that sounds appealing, then a content creator could be just what you need!

    • Initial Inquiry – Share your wedding date and venue details. For destination weddings, I’ll need additional information to provide an accurate quote, as travel and accommodation must be arranged.

    • Consultation – We’ll connect to discuss your vision and ensure we’re the perfect fit.

    • Booking & Deposit – Secure your date with a deposit.

    • Pre-Wedding Preparation – As the day approaches, you’ll complete a brief questionnaire, followed by a final call to refine all the details.

    • The Wedding Day – I’ll discreetly capture the magic behind the scenes, allowing your guests to be fully present.

    • Next-Day Delivery – Your content will be beautifully curated and delivered the following day, with a one-day buffer if needed.

    • Post-Wedding Follow-Up – Once you’ve received your content, we’ll check in to ensure you’re happy with everything and make any necessary refinements.

  • As a wedding content creator, I use the latest tech to capture every special moment.

    My primary device is the iPhone 16 Pro Max, with a backup iPhone 15 Pro Max on hand.

    To ensure smooth, cinematic shots, I rely on the DJI Osmo Gimbal.

    For lighting, I use portable mini lighting and DJI mics are always available to capture high-quality audio.

  • For smaller occasions, a content creator is an excellent choice for capturing the genuine moments and candid interactions of your celebration.

    However, if you’re seeking a higher production video with a more polished finish, such as what a wedding videographer provides, it’s worth considering traditional videography as well.

    A content creator is designed to complement the work of a videographer rather than replace it. I often collaborate closely with videographers and photographers at larger special occasions to ensure we create a well-rounded documentation of your day.

    Together, we can highlight emotional moments, fun activities, and special interactions, allowing each professional to bring their unique style to the event.

  • I typically work to turn around the content within 24 hours, allowing for a quick glimpse into your celebration. However, I generally provide a turnaround of 1-2 days to ensure everything is polished and meets your expectations!

  • To secure your special date, a non-refundable deposit of 20% is required upon booking. This deposit helps to hold your spot in my calendar and ensures that I can dedicate my time and resources to your event. The remaining balance is due one week before the event.

  • We kindly request that catering be provided for any packages of 8 hours or more. This helps us stay focused and energised throughout your special day.

    If providing a meal isn’t possible, please let us know as soon as you can so we can schedule a break to step off-site for a quick bite without impacting coverage.
