I still recall being around ten years old, clutching my first iPad and filming impromptu home movies with friends, persuading my family to join in as the unsuspecting stars. It was all a little chaotic and unpolished, but it sparked something in me that never really left.

After attending weddings as a guest and being asked to capture moments here and there, I began to notice a pattern. The traditional coverage felt staged and overly polished. It looked beautiful, but it didn’t always feel alive. What couples truly wanted was something more authentic — the laughter, fleeting glances, the quiet embraces, the moments that often go unnoticed.

That realisation became the heart of Candidly Yours Film. My purpose is to capture love stories as they unfold naturally so that every time you look back, you can feel those moments just as vividly as the day they happened.

  • Imagine waking up the next morning after a special occasion and instantly reliving all the joy and excitement! Or perhaps you want to be the first to share your celebration with a candid highlights Reel on social. If that sounds appealing, then a content creator could be just what you need!

  • All the content will be shared via a private Dropbox link, organised into folders so you can easily find your favourite moments. This will include both your raw footage and your edited reels.

    The link can result in hundreds of clips, so we recommend ensuring you have enough storage available before downloading!

    • Initial Inquiry – Share your wedding date and venue details. For destination weddings, I’ll need additional information to provide an accurate quote, as travel and accommodation must be arranged.

    • Connect – We’ll connect to discuss your vision and ensure we’re the perfect fit.

    • Booking & Deposit – Secure your date with a 20% deposit.

    • Pre-Wedding Preparation – As the day approaches, you’ll complete a brief questionnaire, followed by a call to refine all the details.

    • The Wedding Day – I’ll discreetly capture the magic behind the scenes, allowing your guests to be fully present.

    • Next-Day Delivery – Your content will be beautifully curated and delivered the following day, with a one-day buffer if needed.

    • Post-Wedding Follow-Up – Once you’ve received your content, we’ll check in to ensure you’re happy with everything and make any necessary refinements.

  • As a wedding content creator, I use the latest tech to capture every special moment, including the latest iPhone.

    To ensure smooth, cinematic shots, I rely on the DJI Osmo Gimbal.

    For lighting, I use portable mini lights and DJI mics are always available to capture high-quality audio.

  • For smaller occasions, a content creator is an excellent choice for capturing the genuine moments and candid interactions of your celebration.

    However, if you’re seeking a higher production video with a more polished finish, such as what a wedding videographer provides, it’s worth considering traditional videography as well.

    A content creator is designed to complement the work of a videographer rather than replace it. I often collaborate closely with videographers and photographers at larger special occasions to ensure we create a well-rounded documentation of your day.

    Together, we can highlight emotional moments, fun activities, and special interactions, allowing each professional to bring their unique style to the event.

  • I typically work to turn around the content within 24 hours, allowing for a quick glimpse into your celebration. However, I generally provide a turnaround of 1-2 days to ensure everything is polished and meets your expectations!

  • We kindly request that catering be provided for any packages of 6 hours or more. This helps us stay focused and energised throughout your special day.

    If providing a meal isn’t possible, please let us know as soon as you can so we can schedule a break to step off-site for a quick bite without impacting coverage.

  • Yes! Every destination event is quoted bespoke to account for travel logistics, multiple-day coverage, and your specific requirements.

  • No - We capture the day discreetly, moving between moments rather than sitting at a fixed seat. This allows us to keep filming throughout the ceremony, speeches, and wedding breakfast without interrupting anything.

  • Yes! Please reach out to me if your venue needs any certificates and I will share them over.

I founded Candidly Yours Film in 2024 after spending the last 8 years creating content for brands and learning how to capture moments in a way that feels natural, elevated, and visually timeless. I wanted to bring that same approach into weddings, creating iPhone content that feels candid and real, while still carrying an editorial edge.

My style is rooted in storytelling, focusing on the genuine, in-between moments as they naturally unfold, alongside thoughtfully captured details that give your wedding a refined, luxury feel without ever feeling too staged.

For me, it’s about more than just filming content. I want the entire experience to feel relaxed, seamless, and stress-free from start to finish. From the first enquiry to delivering your footage, my goal is to let you stay fully present in the moment while I capture the memories you’ll get to relive the very next day.

I know how easy it is to spend a wedding day feeling like you need to be “on” the whole time, which is why I try to make the experience feel as relaxed and natural as possible. I’m not there to constantly direct you or turn the day into a photoshoot. I’m there to blend in, keep things calm, and capture everything as it genuinely happens.

Most couples tell me it feels more like having another friend there on the day. Whether that’s helping calm nerves in the morning, fixing dresses and veils, carrying phones and bouquets, rounding people up when needed, or simply bringing good energy into the room, I’m always happy to help beyond just filming.

The moments that matter most are usually the ones you don’t even realise are happening at the time and those are the memories I love capturing for you to look back on later. My job is to quietly capture all of it in a way that feels natural and true to the day, so when you look back, you’re not just watching your wedding , you’re feeling it all over again.
